New patients
All new patients need to be understanding of the insurance verification process that our staff will go through with you when making an initil appointment. Also understand that if you have coverage that requires a referral, we will give guidance but at the time of any visit, it is your responsibility to have the referral. Many primary care doctors relate referral was sent and it just wasn't.
We accept most public and private insurance plans. No insurance, we will try to work with your circumstance.
Appointment Availability
We typically have very limited same-day appointment availability depending on the circumstance and surgeon availability. However we do get last minute cancellations so it doesn't hurt to ask. Call (305)248-6311 for scheduling. .
Special Hours for Our Special Patients
For our banker and government worker friends who always have trouble finding the time, Homestead Orthopedic Associates is usually open on Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Presidents' Day, and many other Monday holidays. See list below for the absolute closures.
Closed New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Frequently open on other national holidays. Please inquire.
